Regardless of when you arrive in country, you will need to take a PCR test within 72 hours of joining the group. If you’re arriving on the scheduled departure date, you should already have a negative PCR test prior to entering the country per Argentinian regulations. If you enter the country more than 3 days prior to joining the group, you will need to get tested again within 72 hours of joining the group.
Specific arrival testing procedures will be given prior to departure. Any arrival testing done by Polar Latitudes will be free of charge, and will be done via rapid Antigen testing for low-risk individuals, and PCR-like testing for higher risk individuals. Masking and distance precautions will be in place.
You may be tested again on or around Day 3 of your voyage. Once this onboard testing is complete, we anticipate being able to relax masking and distance requirements for the remainder of the voyage. However, we will follow all government regulations regarding masking on board the ship.
